Detectives from the LAPD want to question Lindsay Lohan in relation to the theft of $100,000 worth of watches and sunglasses that were stolen from the Hollywood Hills home of her friend, Sam Magid, during a party last week.
The Los Angeles Times reported Magid reported the missing jewellery to police after a group including Lohan partied at his home.
Magid had since withdrawn his complaint but police are continuing their investigation.
Fox News said witnesses allegedly saw Lohan with a bag containing 2 or 3 stolen items wrapped in her t-shirt.
According to Hollyworld News, the actress' lawyer has reportedly refused a police request to interview Lohan, who is still on probation for the theft of a necklace at a Venice, California jewellery store.
