Chi Magazine editor Alfonso Signorini seems to be trying to sweet talk Kate Middleton into not suing him. Chi is the latest magazine to publish topless photographs of Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, the Guardian reported. In an interview with Sky News, Signorini defended his artistic decision: "I published them with a conviction that they are pictures of a modern contemporary duchess," he said. Sky News claims that Signorini described the Duchess as "resembling a Greek goddess."
The 26-page spread also features quotes from a plastic surgeon. He provides what the Associated Press describes as "an anatomical analysis of the duchess's breasts." The doctor's verdict is that Kate's body is "practically perfect." How sweet?

In an interview with Reuters, Signorini insisted that he did not violate any privacy laws. "It's a scoop and a big one … I didn't have the slightest hesitation," Signorini said.
The photographs have previously been published in the Irish Daily Star and the Closer magazine in France. But Britain's tabloid papers have refrained from publishing the photographs, the Associated Press reported. The royal couple has begun taking legal action against Closer.
Signorini insisted to Reuters that the royal couple would be more popular if they just laughed the scandal off: "People would have liked them more. Why do we all have to imagine that the royals wear a burqa or a one-piece swimsuit to sunbathe? They are human beings like everybody else."
