Honey Boo Boo is back for more episodes, holiday specials

Fans of Honey Boo Boo won't have to wait long after Wednesday night's finale to see more of their favorite 7-year-old reality TV star.

TLC has ordered more episodes and three holiday specials of the reality hit "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo", which features beauty contestant Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, her mother June Shannon and family at their home in rural Georgia.

Fans can get their fill of Honey with new Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas specials while they wait for the new episodes to air in the spring, reports Entertainment Weekly.

AP reports that the show has been a breakout hit for TLC.

The "Toddlers & Tiaras" spinoff show has averaged 2.3 million viewers, reports Entertainment Weekly.

"'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' has become a pop-culture phenomenon," Amy Winter, general manager of TLC, told Reuters.

"What you see is what you get and we are excited to share even more of Alana and her family's unbridled hilarity, sincerity and love with our viewers."

Spoiler alert: According to E! Online, Wednesday's finale saw the little miss Boo Boo compete in the Miss Sparkle and Shine pageant, all dolled up like a blueberry, but the pint size diva did not place in the top three, instead taking home the People's Choice Award.

Even though Honey Boo Boo is famous for saying, "a dolla makes me holla", it is unclear how much the family is earning for the new episodes. The show stirred controversy when it was revealed they were being paid only $2,000 to $4,000 per episode.

The Hollywood Reporter said the family is now asking for a $10,000-an-episode payday but an insider reportedly told the magazine they will probably land somewhere around $8,000 per episode.
