A news station in Montana was interrupted with a terrifying emergency alert: zombies. "Civil authorities in your area have reported that the bodies of the dead are rising from their graves and attacking the living," the alert announced, according to Computer World. "Follow the messages on screen that will be updated as information becomes available. Do not attempt to approach or apprehend these bodies as they are considered extremely dangerous."
On its website, KRTV acknowledged that it got hacked without going into the zombie details."Someone apparently hacked into the Emergency Alert System and announced on KRTV and the CW that there was an emergency in several Montana counties," the station posted.

Police are investigating who is behind the hacking, the Great Falls Tribune reported. While police aren't sure what kind of charges a person could face for such a hacking, they add that it created panic for some people.
The police station got four calls asking if it was true. “We can report in the city, there have been no sightings of dead bodies rising from the ground," an officer told the Tribune. That's reassuring.
