‘Gangnam Style’ beats Justin Beiber to the 1 billion mark

Move over Justin Beiber — 'Gangnam Style' is now the reigning King of YouTube!

The K-pop music video featuring Korean singer PSY has been seen more than 1 billion times on YouTube, the first video ever to have that distinction.

According to Reuters, the video hit 1 billion views at 10:50 a.m. EST and YouTube posted a little dancing Psy doing horsey moves next to his view count to celebrate the milestone.

The 'Gangnam Style' video was first uploaded five months ago and celebrities including Britney Spears, Huge Jackman and even the President of the United States have jumped into the dance trend.

The song is already the most watched video ever on YouTube, taking the crown from Justin Beiber last month. According to NBC, Beiber's 'Baby' isn't supposed to hit 1 billion views until 2014.

"I didn't even imagine 'Gangnam Style' would get 1 million views, let alone 1 billion views! Is this the Tru-PSY show?" the rapper said in a statement to Reuters.

And in case you're one of the few people on the planet who hasn't seen PSY dance to HEEEEYYYY Sexy Lady!:
