Free parking for woman who found valet ticket describing her as ‘fat’

A valet parking company has offered free parking for a year to a woman whose parking attendant described her as ‘fat’ on a claim ticket, NBC News reported.
Sharyn Peoples, an actress in Boca Raton, Fla., left her car with LAZ Parking of Florida while she performed in a play on Dec. 7, the New York Daily News reported. The next day, her boyfriend found a ticket on her windshield on which a parking attendant had scrawled some adjectives to help him match the customer to the car.
The ticket read: “Play. Red dress. Fat,” according to the New York Daily News.
“I was mortified,” Peoples told the New York Daily News. “I cried.”
After Peoples called LAZ Parking to complain, a manager emailed her to offer free parking for a year, NBC News reported. He also told her that "physical appearance will not be written on tickets" in the future, and "this type of situation will never occur again."
"We deeply regret this incident, and the company has apologized to the customer and the employee has been disciplined," Luis Macedo, the general manager of LAZ Parking of Florida, said in a statement on Friday, according to NBC News. "LAZ Parking continues to be committed to providing the best customer experience possible."
Peoples told NBC News she would like the employee to be fired. "People should not accept employees slandering their patrons in any way, shape or form," she said.
