End of the World: New Yorkers look for ‘doomsday’ sex

GlobalPost

In New York City some apocalypse watchers are searching for sex on social media and at parties, instead of stocking up on supplies.

With the Mayan calendar predicting the end of the world on December 21, some New Yorkers are looking for hook-ups, not batteries and food.

The New York Post reported social media and dating websites like Craigslist and OKCupid have been flooded with ads for “casual encounters” before doomsday strikes.

“If I die, I don’t want to die on a dry spell!” declared model Niki Ghazian.

“Everybody should go out feeling satisfied,” Ghazian told the Post. “If the world’s gonna end, why hold back?”

“I will be looking for an end-of-the-world hook-up,” bartender Dennis Cintron told The Post. “If you’re going to go out, go out with a bang.”

Meanwhile, for those wondering, Australia and New Zealand are still standing and have made it through the apocalypse. It is already December 21 there.

And as GlobalPost reported plenty of people have been posting pictures of clocks to prove it, just in case you weren't sure.
