Joining the list of celebrity Good Samaritans, Dustin Hoffman helped save the life of a jogger in the UK on April 27, said the Associated Press on Tuesday.
Sam Dempster went into cardiac arrest while jogging in London's Hyde Park when the famous actor happened to be taking a walk nearby.
Martin Macarthur, one of the paramedics on the scene, said Hoffman saw Dempster collapse and froth at the mouth, according to the AP. Macarthur said, "[Hoffman] was the main witness and saw him stagger and go down." He added, "He stayed on the scene for the whole duration of the resuscitation which was about 15 minutes. He was very concerned."
Hoffman reportedly waited with the collapsed 27-year-old lawyer, though reports suggest someone else called the emergency services.

The Press Associated said after paramedics had restarted Dempster's heart, Hoffman told them, "Great job, guys."
Dempster told the UK newspaper The Sun, "I have no memory of what happened. The paramedics told me I had been saved by Dustin Hoffman. It's unbelievable."
According to ABC News, the 74-year-old Oscar-winning actor owns a house in London.
April seemed to be a productive month for famous rescuers, with Ryan Gosling saving a woman from getting hit by a taxi in the beginning of the month, Newark Mayor Cory Booker rescuing a woman from a fire in the middle of the month and Patrick Dempsey saving a teenager from a car crash later in the month.
