Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman have welcomed a daughter whom they named Olive, the actress said in a statement released Monday to People.
"We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, born September 26th, healthy, happy and welcomed by the whole family. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this most special time in our lives."
Barrymore, 37, wed Kopelman, an actor and art dealer, in a Jewish ceremony at their estate in Montecito, Southern California in June, Reuters wrote.
According to the Washington Post, the former child star never announced her pregnancy, although it became evident as she attended red carpet events.
The couple's wedding photos also featured Kopelman cradling Barrymore's growing baby bump.
Barrymore — whose career spans three decades since her days as a child star in "E.T." to "Charlie's Angels" and her latest, "Big Miracle" — had also been attending prenatal yoga classes, according to People.
She told Haute Living recently:
"I can’t wait until I have my children. I just want to build fun, great things for my family.”
