A fight broke out during a showing of "The Dark Knight Rises" near Pittsburgh, causing panicked theater-goers to flee, the Associated Press reported. AMC stopped showing the film due to the fight, which AMC describes as a "minor altercation." No one was arrested.
However, police think that the Aurora shootings have left audience members feeling "jumpy" during the showings, resulting in the panic at the Pittsburgh theater.

"There were two people who got into an argument, and one person yelled something that induced people to get into a panic," Colin Marks, a witness, told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Marks said that many of the audience members became very scared, and that he and his friends had to stop people from trampling on other movie-goers as everyone fled. "It would've just been a fight at The Waterfront, which I'm sure has happened before," another witness told the Gazette.
In addition to being shaken-up by the Colorado shootings, audience members also had another reason to worry: the theater had its own shooting in 2005, after two men fired at each other in the lobby, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
