Clinton warns that Al Qaeda leader Ayman al Zawahiri is still in Pakistan

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned Monday that Al Qaeda leader Ayman al Zawahiri is still in Pakistan, according to the New York Post.
Clinton made the comments during a three-day trip to India.
"We want to disable Al Qaeda and we have made a lot of progress in doing that," said Clinton, according to Agence France Presse.
But added "there are several significant leaders still on the run."
Zawahiri was second-in-command under bin Laden. Last week marked the one year anniversary since Osama bin Laden was killed by American special forces in Pakistan.

DAWN reported Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar responded to the accusations saying Pakistan had “no information about the presence" of Zawahiri.
Clinton also said that Pakistan had not taken enough action against Hafiz Saeed, the Islamist blamed for the 2008 Mumbai attacks, Reuters wrote. Gunmen killed 166 people over three days in one of the worst acts of terrorism on Indian soil.
India is angry that its nuclear rival Pakistan has not detained and handed over Saeed. The US has offered a reward of $10 million for information leading to his capture.
