CBS tells Grammy performers to hide their buttocks and nipples

After years of tolerating extreme Grammy outfits–from Jennifer Lopez's plunging necklines to Pink's flesh-colored body suit–CBS has issued a pathetic little dress code to its performers. The note, obtained by Deadline Hollywood, begins: "Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered." It goes on: "Thong type costumes are problematic." You're telling me.
The note also points to a mysterious part of the human anatomy called "puffy bare skin" that is apparently near the genital region, and asks stars to cover it. Okay. Would underpants work? More importantly, the advisory asks stars to refrain from promoting any "organized cause" (that includes you, children dying of malnutrition).

It appears that the old folks at CBS are still shaken by the great Janet Jackson "wardrobe malfunction" of 2004. Thousands of people died.
No, not really, but CBS was fined $550,000 by the Federal Communications Commission, though that fine was later thrown out in June 2012, Reuters reported.
Reuters notes that in 2010, Pink "performed upside down" while wearing her flesh body suit.
