Casablanca piano nets $600 grand at NY auction

A certain wealthy someone can say "Here's looking at you, kid," to the piano featured in "Casablanca" with reports of a mystery buyer paying $600,000 for the instrument at a New York auction, said BBC News.

The old upright was put up for sale by its Japanese owner as the legendary 1942 drama celebrated its 70th anniversary, according to BBC.
"Pay it again," quipped Britain's Independent. The previous buyer got it for $154,000 in the late 1980s, said BBC, at the time the highest price ever paid for a movie prop, according to the Independent.
This time around, Sotheby's had announced estimates of $800,000 to $1.2 million, said the report.
