President Barack Obama's re-election campaign is highlighting a new video of Beyonce reading a letter she wrote to Michelle Obama, CBS News reported.
According to POLITICO, Beyonce first shared the handwritten note on her blog back in April, in which she calls the First Lady "the ultimate example of a truly strong African-American woman."
"I am so in awe of Michelle Obama, every time I see her, she inspires me, she empowers me, she encourages me. I'm proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has someone like you to look up to."
A big fan, Obama took her daughters to see a Beyonce concert in May at Atlantic City, N.J. The singer also performed during the inauguration celebrations for the Obamas in January 2009, CBS News wrote.
