Bar Refaeli movie targeted by family of slain Hamas operative

Relatives of a slain Hamas operative seek to block the release of a movie being made in Israel about his 2010 assassination in a Dubai luxury hotel, a family member told the Associated Press.

Mahmoud al-Mabhouh is thought to have been killed by Israel’s Mossad spy agency, who have to this day neither confirmed or denied involvement, the AP wrote. Israeli defense officials have acknowledged that he was involved in smuggling weapons from Iran to the Gaza Strip.

The movie, features Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli as a temptress working for the hit team. Refaeli, the former girlfriend of Leonardo DiCaprio, has made headlines in recent days since she was chosen as  "the world's most beautiful woman" on Maxim magazine’s annual “Hot 100” list.

Maxim readers gave top spots to Olivia Munn, Mila Kunis, Katy Perry and Olivia Wilde. Jennifer Lawrence, Rihanna, and “Downton Abbey’s” Michelle Dockery and Naya Rivera also made the list.

The Washington Post reported after “a massive write-in vote campaign” Comedy Central host Stephen Colbert became the first man to secure a spot on the list, landing at No. 69.

"Maxim's" Hot 100 list will be featured in its June issue, hitting newsstands May 29.
