Anne Hathaway married Adam Shulman, longtime partner, in Big Sur, California

Anne Hathaway has married longtime partner Adam Shulman in  in Big Sur, California.

According to People Magazine, more than 100 guests were invited to the wedding, held in the same place as Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied, with a rehearsal dinner at the nearby Ventana Inn and Spa.

Hathaway reportedly wore a gown designed by Valentino and the wedding decor was inspired by nature.

The "Dark Knight Rises" actress had been dating Shulman for four years and got engaged last November.

Hathaway recently said she "fell in love like a fool" upon meeting Shulman, according to a report on MonstersandCritics.com.

"I am very much in love with him, only Adam totally ruined my plan. I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time." 

She said she wanted to hold off having her wedding until 2013, as "this year, its too big with two films coming out."

She said she was filming "Les Miserables" when the couple decided to tie the knot.

Hathaway also starred in "The Devil Wears Prada,"
