6.1-magnitude quake rocks Chile

A 6.1-magnitude earthquake struck Chile today, according to the US Geological Survey

Chilean emergency authorities did not report any major damage or injuries, but a Reuters reporter described seeing Santiago buildings sway.

The earthquake's epicenter was located 84 miles away from the capital and hit at 4:36 local time, said the US Geological Survey
