Traffic cop in Romania charged by runaway bull (VIDEO)

A traffic officer in a small town in Romania likely woke up in hospital this week wondering if it was all a dream.

While on duty Thursday in the town of Braila, the officer was approached by a giant, aggressive bull.

The approximately 600-pound bull lowered its head and charged directly at the man, who appeared too shocked to run.

The animal smashed into his chest and he fell to the ground, according to images from a nearby surveillance camera.

The bull then ran around town for four hours before being tranquilized and captured, according to reports.

It apparently escaped from a local farm. The farmer is likely to be fined for negligence.

The officer is in hospital and is expected to recover.
