#TBT: Watch the Soviet Union’s amazing 1969 adaptation of Winnie the Pooh

You've seen Winnie the Pooh. But have you ever seen Soviet-era Winnie the Pooh, or rather, Vinny Pukh?

Fyodor Khitruk, a Russian animator, drew this 10-minute adaption for Soyuzmultfilm in 1969. A famous Russian actor, Yevgeny Leonov, did the voice of Vinny Pukh.

Vinny Pukh is super deep and existential and absolutely everything about this is amazing.

Two sequels followed in 1971 and 1972.
