Rolling Stones to headline Glastonbury Festival for first time

The Rolling Stones have been named one of three acts that will be headlining this year's Glastonbury Festival.
This will be the first time the 50-year-old band wll play the festival at Worthy Farm in Somerset, which is expected to draw a crowd of around 135,000 people.

The other two acts headlining the June festival are Mumford and Sons and Arctic Monkeys. The Stones will take the stage on the Saturday night.
Mick Jagger even tweeted about the big announcement:
The Rolling Stones recently played a series of concerts to celebrate their 50 years together, and there have been rumors that there are more to come. Before those shows, the band hadn't played together since 2007.
"We all had such a ball last year, and the energy between the band is so good, we can't wait to play Glastonbury," Keith Richards said in a statement. "See you on a summer's day in England."
Other acts getting ready to play at the famous festival include Vampire Weekend, Phoenix, the Lumineers, Alabama Shakes and Portishead.
Glastonbury was canceled last year because of the Olympics and to allow the farmland to recover from the previous festival.
