Rob Kardashian was charged Friday with misdemeanor battery and petty theft. Today, he appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to the charges. Prosecutors had asked that bail be set at $21,000, but Judge Marsha Revel let Kardashian go on his own for now, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Photographer Kassandra Perez alleges that Kardashian hit her in the face, arm and chest when she tried to take his picture. She claims that he also stole her camera's memory card, worth approximately $30,000, according to court documents obtained by E! News.
Kardashian "removed the camera's memory card, threw the camera back at Plaintiff and left with Plaintiff's memory card stating, 'I'll pay you when I see you,'" the court papers say.
Kardashian had been making headlines in the tabloids recently for his dramatic weight gain. His fight with Perez erupted after she caught him shirtless leaving a West Hollywood gym.
