“Ready for Love” pulled after two episodes

Love is blindness, love is drowning, love is effectively canceled after two episodes. NBC has pulled "Ready for Love" from its Tuesday night time-slot,  Variety reported. The heavily-promoted dating show, produced by Eva Longoria, had only been on the air twice before it lost its place in NBC's lineup.

It's not clear when, if at all, NBC will air the remaining episodes of the show.

"Ready for Love," hosted by Bill and Giuliana Rancic, centered on three single men. The bachelors used professional matchmakers, Facebook and other social media to search for romantic partners. In the first week, the show had 3.8 million viewers, The Wrap reported, but by the second week viewers started giving up on love and the show saw a 13 percent decline.

Other executive producers on the show besides Longoria are Jason Ehrlich, Greg Goldman, David Garfinkle and Jay Renfroe.
