Emergency audio released on Tuesday details the urgency of a believed suicide attempt by Paris Jackson, a 15-year-old found with 20 Motrin pills and her arm sliced by a kitchen knife, according to the Associated Press.
A judge has ordered an investigation into the grisly incident, reported Reuters. Jackson is the daughter of pop legend Michael Jackson.
The audio released by the Los Angeles County Fire Department helps clarify the circumstances of the June 5 call to Jackson's home in Calabasas, California, said AP.
Reuters said the minute-long emergency dispatch described them finding Jackson conscious and breathing. She was hospitalized immediately.
Jackson and her two brothers are under joint custody of their grandmother and cousin.
The grandmother's lawyer, Perry Sanders Jr., has defended 15-year-old Jackson's well-being in the past. He did not return a call for comment by AP on Tuesday.
