MTV ‘Buckwild’ star Shain Gandee found dead at 21

Some sad news for fans of MTV's controversial reality show "Buckwild."

The show's 21-year-old star Shain Gandee was found dead on Monday.

Gandee's body was discovered alongside the body of his uncle, David Gandee, and a third unidentified person in the reality star's car in West Virginia.

Dispatchers discovered the body around 11:30 a.m. after following a lead about the missing vehicle. The MTV star's Ford Bronco was found about a mile up a secluded dirt road, according to the Charleston Daily Mail.

The group, who told friends they were going four-wheeling the night before, had been reported missing.

"Buckwild" is a reality show set in a poor West Virginia town about a group of college aged friends who party together. They frequently take off their clothes for the camera.

A number of the stars have previously had run-ins with the law.

Gandee's co-star Salwa Amin was arrested and sent to jail "for possession and intent to distribute heroin and OxyContin, while Michael Burford was arrested for a DUI," according to Yahoo News.

"We are shocked and saddened by the terrible news… Shain had a magnetic personality, with a passion for life that touched everyone he met and we will miss him dearly," MTV said in a statement.
