Lindsay Lohan heads to nightclub after agreeing to 3 months rehab

Hours after Lindsay Lohan agreed in court to undergo three months of rehab, the actress headed out on the town.

Lohan was at least driven to club AV in the back of an SUV, Entertainment Online reported.

But when she spotted the pack of photographers giving chase, the troubled star who was covered in a blanket in the backseat, decided to change her plans and stay away from the licensed premises.

Her move comes less than 24 hours after she avoided being sent to jail, striking a plea deal with prosecutors Monday in a Los Angeles court.

She is expected to enter the locked facility later this week.

The 26-year-old actress agreed to spend 90 days in a "locked in" drug rehab facility with the judge noting that under no circumstances is she allowed to leave, USA Today reported.

The deal was struck moments before her trial was due to start on charges she lied to police about whether she was behind the wheel of a Porsche involved in a June crash in Santa Monica, California.

She had pleaded not guilty to three misdemeanor charges filed after the accident but on Monday pleaded no contest, CNN reported.

"This is it," Los Angeles Superior Judge James Dabney told her.

"You violate your probation, and we're not going to have discussions of putting you back on probation."

The sentence extends Lohan's probation for two years and also requires 30 days of community labor and 18 months of psychological therapy, Fox News reported.

If she successfully completes the terms of the deal, a 180-day jail sentence will be waived, ABC News reported.

Outside the court, her lawyer Mark Jay Heller, told reporters he was "very confident that you won't be seeing Lindsay Lohan in any criminal courts any time in the future."

Earlier, the troubled actress flew from New York by private jet to Los Angeles, but was late to court due to the flight being diverted.

“Thanks Mr. Pink for the private jet see you all in a few hours in LA @drinkmrpink @sheerazhasan,” she tweeted, referring to an energy drink.

Before adjourning the matter, the judge gave Lohan a stern warning, suggesting she avoid getting behind the wheel in future and stating: “You really need to understand – This is it. Please take this seriously.”
