Life-size Barbie Dreamhouse opens in Berlin

GlobalPost

The first life-size Barbie Dreamhouse opened in Berlin on Thursday and is being guarded by police after feminist groups and left-wing activists said they would picket the plastic villa.

While at the iconic doll's dreamhouse, fans can try on her clothes in her "endless" closet, bake cupcakes in her kitchen, walk her runway and hang out in her living room. Electric armbands and LED touchscreens make the experience even better, according to organizers, who describe it as a "unique, life-size and interactive installation that brings the world famous Barbie toy house alive."
