Hip hop singer Lauryn Hill is not having a good week.
Among a host of other personal financial problems, she now faces eviction from her mansion in South Orange, New Jersey after she stopped paying rent last month, TMZ said.
She has been living in the home since 2009 with her six children. The legal dispute with her landlord comes just days before she is due in court for tax evasion.
Hill plead guilty to three counts of tax fraud in June 2012, the result of not filing her returns for 2005, 2006 and 2007 during which time she reportedly earned between $1.6 and $1.8 million dollars.
On April 22 she faces sentencing and could be fined up to $100,000 for each count and possible time in prison, according to the Huffington Post.

Hill claims she did not file the taxes because of threats to her family, NBC News reported.
She said she chose to "defer" payments during those years as a means of withdrawing from society to protect her childrens' safety.
At the time, she blamed her troubles on "a media-protected military industrial complex."
