A grenade attack was reported in the Rwandan capital on Kigali late Tuesday, according to Reuters, killing at least one person.

News of the attack came during actor and UN goodwill ambassador Angelina Jolie's visit to the city.

It is not known where Jolie was at the time of the blast, which Rwandan officials said took place in the evening at a bus station in Kigali's Kimironko area. The blast left eight people wounded.

Earlier Tuesday, Jolie visited the Kigali Memorial Center alongside United Kingdom Foreign Secretary William Hague, according to the Rwandan News Agency. Jolie is on a tour of Africa to raise awareness for victims of rape.

E! Online said she "looked stunning in pants and simple white shirt" during her visit to Kigali's Gisozi genocide memorial.
