That awesome singing nun just won Italy’s ‘The Voice’

Remember that singing nun who became a viral sensation after appearing on Italy's version of "The Voice?"

Well she just won the whole damn thing.

Sister Cristina Scuccia, a 25-year-old nun from Sicilia, conquered the internet back in March with this performance of Alicia Keys' "No One":

Turns out she had some real staying power. The internet moved on to other things, like this screaming baby goat, but over in Italy, she crushed "The Voice," week in and week out.

Last night was the season final and Sister Cristina won with 62 percent of the vote. After hoisting the trophy, with her fellow sisters watching from the audience, she recited the "Lord's Prayer."

With the win comes a record deal with Universal. It's not clear whether she'll take it.

"My presence here is not up to me, it's thanks to the man upstairs!" she said, "I'm not here to start a career but because I want to impart a message."

Among her highlights:

A performance, backed by a full rock band, of Bon Jovi's "Living on a Prayer."

Irene Cara's "What a Feeling" — the "Flashdance" theme.

"Time of My Life" from "Dirty Dancing."

And being far-and-away the best part of this promotional ad for "The Voice" featuring an ensemble performance of Adele's "Rumour Has It."
