BOSTON, Mass. — I’ve got good news for GlobalPost fans. We have been acquired by WGBH — the largest producer of public TV shows, including Frontline, NOVA and American Experience. WGBH shares our commitment to unparalleled global coverage, and our team is integrating into WGBH subsidiary Public Radio International (PRI). PRI is a creator and distributor of radio and multimedia content, and is a trusted source of information, insights and cultural experiences essential to living in an interconnected world.

Together, GlobalPost and PRI will continue to bring you award-winning international reporting that doesn’t feel like homework. Our journalists will still live where they report and cover stories you won’t see anywhere else. And now, you’ll also hear them on the daily radio show PRI’s The World®, co-produced with the BBC and WGBH.

Soon when you visit, you’ll be redirected to our new shared home at There you’ll find even more context and insights on global news and trends, and storytelling that crosses audio, video, and visual platforms. We’ll even be adding a new data journalism team to the mix.

All of GlobalPost's stories and series, new and old, will be on and searchable. Our popular daily newsletter will continue to bring you a rich mix of coverage. And we’ll continue to pursue in-depth reporting projects like our Fugitive Fathers series, which uncovered how Catholic priests accused of molesting children were transplanted to new parishes in Latin America.

As PRI President and CEO Alisa Miller has said, “PRI and GlobalPost joining forces will create one of the most influential, in-depth digital global news platforms.” We’re really excited about this next phase of GlobalPost and we think you’ll like what you see.

To be sure we keep growing what you love most about GlobalPost, we ask for a minute of your time to take this survey.

Keep following us on Facebook and Twitter to see all of our expanded coverage. See you soon at!
