Report cards, grades get worse during recession

When parents lose their jobs, their kids tend to do worse in school. But during economic recessions, kids tend to get worse grades, even if their parents lose their jobs. The study may show that kids are feeling the stresses of the economy more than expected. Beth Kobliner explains the results to The Takeaway.
