Can you do better than Robin Williams, Kid Rock, and Carrie Underwood? The military is going to try. After years of booking entertainment through the USO, Army officials are advertising for performers to play for troops around the globe.

Live entertainment has long been a successful morale-booster for US troops abroad. For decades, Bob Hope brought a touch of Hollywood to the front with the USO. The World’s Katy Clark reports on how today’s entertainers are recruited for similar performances.
