Is This Plagiarism?

The Takeaway

From a very young age, we’re told to be honest, to tell the truth, and not to cheat. In most cases, we know when we’re breaking those rules. But in others, it’s not always so clear.
Take, for example, journalism in the digital age. People over a certain age generally know to follow a set of rules that applied before the internet. But for the young, savvy digital natives out there, the rules aren’t always so obvious.
It’s for this reason that journalist and journalism professor Benjamin Davis decided to write a new guidebook for today’s digital natives, clarifying what’s plagiarism and what’s not. His ebook is called “The Digital Media Pyramid Replaces the Century Old Inverted Pyramid.”
