The House will attempt to repeal the Affordable Care Act this week. Not for the first, second, or even fifteenth time. This marks the thirty-seventh time the House has attempted to repeal the health care law.
President Obama seems to be unphased. He said last week:”Six months ago the American people went to the polls and decided to keep going in this direction. So the law is here to stay.”
The President’s confidence might be due to the many times the House has failed to repeal health care reform. Back in March, Representative Michelle Bachmann urged her fellow Congressmen and women to repeal the law:
“Let’s repeal this failure before it literally kills women, kills children, kills senior citizens.”
