There’s been a lot of big money moving around this week that could have big consequences for the country – both on the presidential campaign front and in the GOP budget passed Thursday in the House of Representatives.
The Republican-dominated House voted to block $55 billion in Pentagon budget cuts that would have gone into effect in January next year. Instead, the House cut funding for Medicaid, food stamps, and other social programs.
