There’s been a lot of big money moving around this week that could have big consequences for the country – both on the presidential campaign front and in the GOP budget passed Thursday in the House of Representatives.
The Republican-dominated House voted to block $55 billion in Pentagon budget cuts that would have gone into effect in January next year.  Instead, the House cut funding for Medicaid, food stamps, and other social programs.  Takeaway Washington correspondent Todd Zwillich has been following the money both on Capitol Hill and on the presidential campaign trail this week.
