Filipino Workers to Get More Rights in Saudi Arabia

Last week we featured a story on domestic workers in the U.S., as part of our Global Nation coverage.

Well, there are more than half a million Filipinos working in Saudi Arabia and until this week they had very few protections.

The governments of Saudi Arabia and the Philippines have now signed an agreement giving Filipino workers more rights — specifically Filipino household service workers.
