Economic stimulus according to ‘Fair Game’

Fair Game

Sub-prime housing killing the market, increased foreign holdings, ballooning national debt — Ed says he wouldn’t ask the economy out on a second date right now. But he does ask some regular Americans how they would help stimulate the economy…

President Bush and Congressional leaders have agreed to send out $600 rebate checks to tens of millions of Americans as part of the government’s economic stimulus package. Ed decides to put together a "Fair Game" package: $20 to help the economy now, and hits the streets to test his plan.

"Fair Game" is a satirical news and entertainment, weekday evening program. Hosted by Faith Salie, possibly the only Rhodes Scholar who performs comedy intentionally, "Fair Game" covers the important stories of the day and uses insightful humor to tease out what it all means.
