Closing the Gender Gap in Tech

As the tech industry grows, so do the roles women play in its expansion. Silicon Valley is no longer the only hub of start-ups and program engineers. With its collection of dominant industries like fashion, finance and  publishing, New York City is becoming yet another competitor. Jessica Lawrence, managing director of the NY Tech Meetup, explains how.
