The World

The Slits are a legendary all-female group from London, England. In its original incarnation, formed in 1976, the band was one of the first wave of British punk bands, and their boundary-pushing blend of primal rock and reggae has provided inspiration for generations of musicians. The band broke up in the early ’80s, but it has since reformed with a mix of old and new members, and they’re here with Faith Salie on Fair Game.

Songs from the session:
World of Grownups
Typical Girls
Fade Away
Love and Romance
Crew War
