What’s red and can be seen on Valentine’s Day in Saudi Arabia? Well … nothing! Saudi Arabia bans all things red in the days leading up to February 14th. Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice patrol the streets to make sure that there are no traces of red roses, wrapping paper, or teddy bears in any of the stores. Joining Faith to talk about this and other events in Saudi Arabia is Ahmed Al-Omran, founder of Saudi Jeans, a blog dedicated to providing commentary on life and politics in the Kingdom.
