Murder of American consulate in Juarez likely accidental

The March 13th assassination of a pregnant U.S. consulate worker and her husband brought significant attention to the violence plagued border town of Ciudad Juarez. Two weeks later, following the arrest of a gang member associated with the shootings, a less conspiratorial picture of what happened on that tragic day seems to be emerging.

We speak with James McKinley, a staff reporter for The New York Times, about the recent revelations that the killings were not politically motivated; and ask, is it worse that the violence is so rampant and indiscriminate that practically everybody in the Mexican border town is a potential victim?
