The Dallas Mavericks and its German star Dirk Nowitzki won the NBA title Sunday night beating the Miami Heat. Nowitzki was named the Most Valuable Player of the series, a title that only a handful of foreign-born players have earned. Anchor Marco Werman talks to Salman Mitha, who covers basketball for the German paper Munich Times, about the German’s achievement.
