Senior editor for Slate, Emily Bazelon, explains that the left worries that she is too untested, while the right worries that she is too “gay friendly.” This is based on a fight about the government’s “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” policy, when law schools didn’t allow military recruiters to come to schools.
