Fair Game
The World

Over the past forty years, documentary film-maker Frederick Wiseman has been exploring American institutions. Without using interviews or voiceover commentary, he’s brought viewers inside a mental hospital in Titicut Follies, a department store in The Store, a high school in, well, High School – and most recently, inside democracy itself. State Legislature, which examines a session of the Idaho State Legislature was shown on PBS last year and is now available on DVD. Frederick Wiseman speaks with Faith Salie on Fair Game.
