Cyro Baptista is a Brazilian-born percussionist who has performed with Yo-Yo Ma, Herbie Hancock, Paul Simon, David Byrne, Laurie Anderson, and Snoop Dogg, among many, many others. He’s played on five Grammy-winning albums and was named the 2007 Percussionist of the Year by the Jazz Journalists Association.
