Starting out on “The Simpsons” in 1989, Bird would go on to direct two of the most successful and critically acclaimed Oscar-winning Pixar blockbusters, “The Incredibles” and “Ratatouille.” Now Bird is trying to bring his signature style and success to the world of live action filmmaking with “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.” The fourth installment of the Tom Cruise franchise, “Ghost Protocol” opens in theaters nationwide on Wednesday.
