Billy Bragg is a British folk singer whose left-wing protest songs and outspoken grassroots political activism have earned him accolades on both sides of the Atlantic. Over the past thirty years, he’s teamed up with Wilco to write music to accompany the lyrics of Woody Guthrie; had his proposals for reform in the House of Lords taken seriously by the British parliament; and been declared a “national treasure” by The Times of London. He joins Faith Salie in the Fair Game studios to perform songs from his latest album, Mr. Love & Justice.
Songs from the session:
Sing Their Souls Back Home
I Keep Faith
Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright
