Green Day frontman freaks out onstage, insults Justin Bieber

Green Day frontman Billie Jo Armstrong put on quite a show at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas on Friday, though not the kind fans expected.

The singer reportedly went berserk when festival organizers cut Green Day's set short by 20 minutes. Armstrong was given one minute warning to wrap up and according to TMZ, he was not happy with the news, smashing his guitar, yelling expletives and insulting Justin Bieber.

"I'm not Justin Bieber, you motherf**kers!," he reportedly screamed. Armstrong reminded fans he's been around since 1988 and implied the band deserved better treatment. 

"Oh, f–k this s–t. I'm gonna play a f–king new song….Give me a f–king break. One minute left. One minute f–king left. You're gonna give me one f–king minute? Look at that f–king sign right there — one minute. Let me f–king tell you something, let me tell you something, I've been around since f–king 198-f-cking-8. And you're gonna give me one f–king minute? You've gotta be f–king kidding me! You're f–king kidding me. What the f–k! I'm not f–king Justin Bieber, you motherf–kers…I got one minute—one minute left. Oh, now I got nothing left. Let me show you what one f–king minute f–king means. One minute. God f–king love you all. We'll be back."

Green Day was originally slated to perform a longer set, according to NY Daily News, but the show started late and Green Day's set was cut so Usher could have more time.

The band has not commented why Armstrong invoked the Bieber since the pop star wasn't even scheduled to perform at the festival. 

Bieber isn't the only musician to be caught in the wrath of Armstrong lately. According to the Huffington Post,said Bon Jovi was the worst band they've ever played with, but he praised The Hives.

"The best is probably The Hives. They’re a great live band," Armstrong told Kerrang! "The worst? Oh boy, I have to go with Bon Jovi!”
