Steven Moss

Steven Moss is an associate professor of English at Texas State Technical College in Waco and author of "We Could Not Fail: The First African Americans in the Space Program."

Steven Moss is an associate professor of English at Texas State Technical College in Waco. His master’s thesis, “NASA and Racial Equality in the South, 1961-1968”  was one of the first academic works on the topic and led to his book We Could Not Fail: The First African Americans in the Space Program.

Moss is a member of the Loyal Order of Toad Ranchers and lives in Texas  with his cat, Rhubarb.
