Sune Engel Rasmussen a journalist based in Kabul where he reports for The Guardian, The New Republic, Foreign Policy and other outlets. Having spent a few years in Iran, he took what seemed like a natural next step and moved to Afghanistan to watch the military transition and the country’s first peaceful handover of power. He now mainly reports on politics and security, but started out years ago writing long rants about rap. He holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Columbia University.
